Happy holidays, internet! It’s been over a week since the cards went out, so I feel it’s time to share this year’s treat with the rest of you. But first, a little recap (because who doesn’t love a traditional holiday card letter?).
This past spring, we were #blessed to witness the miracle of life when a pair of Robins raised their babes in a hanging basket on our front porch. I’m not sure why I never put those pics up on here, but I did chronicle it on the socials.
As you may have read, we had adventures in Seattle & Alaska and I took a fish hook to the hand (not on my original bingo card for this year).
TG is doing well as a sophomore in H.S., involved in Drama Club, performs as the school mascot, and is and gearing up for getting a license to drive. Hubs and I are quite proud of the kiddo.
Speaking of Hubs, he and I took up Pickleball this year. We even came in third place in our park district beginner tournament. We also took in a bunch of sportsball.
In October, TG and I (much to Hubs’ chagrin) launched the the official Instagram of @johnonthejon206. The following month we spent Thanksgiving in Sarasota with my brother (OMG – so much laughing) and parents. While there, I dropped in for a few workouts at my home away from home gym, CrossFit Sarasota, where I always feel welcomed like one of the fam. I can’t believe I’ve been a part of this whole CrossFit community for SIX years now. In fact, my WODaversary is coming up this Saturday!
